I've always wanted to go to NY since I was 14. I was allowed to visit the city so many times in films and series, just never in reality. I had so many travel brochures with NY offers at home and I kept telling myself, one day I'll be there. At the age of 25 I finally fulfilled my dream for the first time. I was fascinated from the start. When I drove up the Queensboro Bridge for the first time and saw the skyline, I was blown away. Since then it has been my goal to be in NY every year and eventually to live there too. Even if only for a short time. This city means so much to me. But what impresses me the most are the contrasting places. Let's just take Central Park. An oasis between thousands of houses. Just nice to enjoy the peace and quiet in such a great place, far away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. But NY also has a lot to offer away from the tourism hotspots. Discover the real real city and maybe even your local coffee shop in Queens or Brooklyn. On my website I would like to share my experiences with you. No city in the world is like this, like My City New York.
